Labels have become the norm. We label each other in a desperate attempt for understanding. It sucks to be labeled negatively by other people, hell it sucks to be labeled at all. Especially when there are so many facets to who we are. none of us are JUST one thing(I think I've mentioned that in the past.) In my experience the most dangerous thing about being labeled (in general, but especially by our peers) is how we start to believe (and therefore become) those one dimensional definitions.
Thoughts are so powerful, what we think, we become. That being said the good news is; we live in a world where the only true thing that can ever possibly stop us from getting what we want or being who we want be is our own mind. And the limitations that we TELL ourselves that we have. Once we know who we are (but also who we are not.) the labels given to us by others have no power anymore. They become exactly what they are, completely irrelevant.
